Vanlife Baby on the way!

We are absolutely thrilled to share with you, that in about 10 weeks time we will be having a vanlife BABY!!

We are 30 weeks along the way right now and boy, it was a bumpy ride. Hence, we haven’t been posting to much on social media in the first few months. This baby boy hasn’t made his parents life an easy one, for about 17 weeks! But, we are happy to tell you that now, we are all doing fine! Even our dog Foofur seems to have a clue what is going on.

Because it was our wish to become parents in the future, we bought a new “old” campervan in the Spring of 2018. Little did we know that this baby would arrive so soon! In the early days of December, we found out that I was pregnant. And although we aren’t in a rush, we do certainly feel the pressure of getting this new home ready. Especially before the end of July!

Having a baby in a van really made us think twice about the interior changes we needed to make. We have build in a lot of more luxury than we have been used to for the last 2,5 years. We think we have made all the right decisions. Otherwise, we will learn by mistake and adjust whatever we will need too.

When everything goes well, we hope to be on the road again after a while. Of course that depends on we are feeling at the time, after the birth. This is another reason why we really don’t make any big plans for the near future. Because even when we don’t know where we are going yet, this vanlife baby will make our vanlife journey a great adventure anyway! This story is to be continued!
